DHC U14G vs Rotherham

The u14s team today was made up of older, much younger, and some newer players. We came up against an older Rotherham team who were strong in front of goal. We lost 4-1 but deserved more given most goals came from short corners.
The newer players put a shift in and didn’t look out of place at all with some great tackling and good runs. Many had to play out of position so thanks to all who didn’t complain.
The only improvement I think needed is mental toughness, and the want to get stuck in and win the ball without looking at the umpire hoping for a decision. Well done lads and keep going!
